So it begins with Four Kings... nice.
We'll see how much of this Ms. Kingsley can ever actually print. :)

A lunatic abducts her at gunpoint and then proceeds to rant for weeks about robots and the moon... as you stated earlier, she only prints what she knows is fact, so yeah, even if she did believe Eric, she'd still have a hell of a time verifying it.
Also: PM incoming.

Shrug. Anything that promotes violence and terrorism in some sense is not better than what they fight against in the end.
You know history:
The oppressed become the next oppressors.
Nothing gets done, nothing changes, everybody loses and the selfish win.
So I guess Eric really works outside of everything. But then most such people still have a self-serving goal.

Your words ring true, and not just regarding this work of fiction.
Glad to have your comments again!

I guess that throughout history, civilizations tend to reach an apex where the population becomes soft and sentimental.... at which point the "barbarians" swoop in, demolish the culture, and things start anew.
Maybe the stuff in recent years is a sign of our current barbarians but more globally than it used to be in the past as civilizations are also more global.
But I only know numbers.

I'd say it's not quite that simple and that a lot of it is greed versus cooperation exploiting group divisions, old systems, and customs for narrow gains. For instance, how many people were conned into supporting the Vietnam War by the mythical 'Gulf of Tonkin' incident, and who benefited from that lie? This is a large and active thread in modern politics as shown by the more recent 'Yellowcake scandal' which follows the same trend.

@MJ: Byzantium lasted for hundreds of years after the fall of the "Roman Empire".
However, speaking to the current day I'm less worried about ISIS than I am about the Tea Party. One guess as to which one can seize a huge stockpile of nuclear weapons without firing a shot...

You know, I've gotta wonder: Staying on the run for weeks, while hauling a reporter around, without being caught by officialdom has got to cost money and require preparation and/or help. Just how big is Eric's war-chest and where does it come from?

The quick answer: Targeted terrorism and short selling Maerc Group (and other affected companies') stocks. Yeah, the back end of Eric's operations is actually pretty significant.

Liberty International is a lie, but the truth? You can't take the truth!
Oh, and the truth is out there...

Maybe Eric is dead.
This is just some guy continuing it.
Eric is just the name of the cause.
Eric is just the action of change.
Everyone capable can be Eric and look like him.

@MadJak: Man, now there's some tinfoil hat wearing crazy stuff to make Prof look like he's sleeping at the wheel.
@RD: The US Navy?

One question, and answer this here, in PM, or not at all. Is Hideo the King of Diamonds?
