That's like saying fish swim, cheetahs run, and eagles fly. Be more specific!

We'll see about that... life has taken her some strange places, but at heart she's a good country girl who merely has no emotional qualms about ending lives.

It's not Sunday! What is this voodoo?!?
:-o

Well, damn, baby was rescued, but I can't decide if this is going to be good or bad.
AND Macdonald did show up.
Just not the one expected.

The moms in this comic are some of the BEST characters!

Parents are kind of a stand-in for world building. I mean, look at Star Wars. "Why is that guy a whiny dick?" "Have you met his parents?"

Also, thanks for noting that MacDonald's arrival... that was part of the joke.

I thought it read "daughter" which I found confusing but then... I was half-asleep so not sure :D
Now I am double confused whether I was already dreaming :O

Anyway.
Mom has more power than I thought. I doubt she just casually decided something is up. Meaning she knew or somebody gave her a tip.
Heh. I think MSV miscalculated this time :)

EDIT: Is cool. Sunday here under SST.

Oh snap, MSV moved in on the wrong place trying to find Eric McDonald. The real question is whether or not they can find him now that they've just been handed a big fat hint on where else they need to keep watch. On second thought, this big fat hint is well-connected enough to bring state troopers and a court order to seize a baby from her mother. It might not be quite so easy for the goon squad to push around grandma McDonald without paying a price.
Also, I wonder just what happens now, considering Tona has a pretty shitty case for maintaining custody of her daughter in the face of this. With nothing else but 'freedom from prison' to motivate her to maintain her parole imprisonment, she is certain to re-evaluate her conduct and options less... conservatively.

Ever wake up one day and realize, "Oh shit, THIS is what I'm supposed to be striving for?"

Get power, Tona.

Power? I don't see how it will be easy for someone with a tracking anklet and national notoriety to get money or any other useful form of power. You're right about what she needs to get her daughter back though.

Reality TV is the usual means.

There are so very many things wrong with that sentence I'm lost on even trying to count them. One of the bigger ones is that it does seem to have worked for D. Trump.

First an foremost, had you not warned us this one might be late, you might have to answer for your "failure". :P

Wow This page, part two.

(Warning: I'm about to bring up a black-eye incident relating your home state.)

Also, I can see why MSV backs off from Wisconsin cops... (I'm sure "Katya" could deal with court orders and such.)

I can't help but think that maybe, just maybe, Kay "called in a tip" (i.e. straight played MSV), given the suspicious timing here. Eric had to get his manipulative nature SOMEWHERE... I could be WAY off, though.

They were based on another family in my home county in northwest Wisconsin, but yeah yeah: Averys = Zehms

Some people can't ever win, not when the whole world is lined up against them. Time for Tona to start making allies...

Also, I have to harp about the broader point: contrary to the propaganda, there is not a whole lot of upward social mobility in the United States. In general, local cops anywhere feel this instinctually--bad blood is bad blood, regardless of the generation. How zealously the police pursue this gut feeling... well, I wouldn't pretend that police overreach is something exclusive to Wisconsin.

TLDR: yes I binge watched that series.
