This page introduces Mr. Carter Lake, who is not my creation.

Be advised that he will be referred to by another name.

Door number three will be rolling around the corner in a black Lincoln Town Car on Wednesday at 8 pm Central!

And no, it won't be a better option.

1) Lake doesn't take chances, not where his employer's concerned.

2) Lake is extremely protective of his comrades in arms, be it from incoming ordinance or demeaning comments.

3) What's the point of being a 275+ lb paramilitary badass if you don't make it known to shit-talking nosy reporters?

4) [redacted - see later pages]

I want to weigh in here. Just so we're clear, Mr. Lake is Carter Lake, who may or may not have had/will possibly have an association with Lt. Bishop, and one/both of them may or may not have a part in Season Two of a beloved urban fantasy series which may or may not share a title with the location of this scene.

Okay, lir, I'm done hijacking your comment section, except to say dang, nicely done!

Wait. Is that the guy from 30 Days of Characters who complained about carrying huge weapons?
Damn! His hand could squash Sam like a hamburger :O
A normal person probably needs like one punch. Anywhere.

The joke kind of reminds me of the classic scenario in massage centers even cartoons like to make fun of :D

Yes, you are correct, this is the dude who was toting the M240 machine gun in 30 Days.

As for your other statements, hang around and you'll see, you'll see.

This is NOT shaping up to be a good day for Sam, is it?

Here's to hoping you're big on follow-through Lir.
I wanna see this frisking scene! ;-)

Re: "Frisking Scene"--not gonna happen thanks to the magic of the gutter.

And anyways, I've seen the products of your imagination and there's no way that [redacted for inappropriate] could produce something that does it justice.

(I'm late to the party but I'm here to stay)
So. I really imagine Lake sounding like Rock. Simply by bounds of largeness.
Your body language sense is gr8...I think this guy is possibly their employer...Just by employee names.
I really like how unimpressed Elektra looks with all of this. And half of me expects the frisking to turn into a drunken night on the town, but considering you shot someone last chapter. Hm.

Nah, Spellz, their boss is a lot less interesting than that dude.

And no, a drunken spree on the town is prolly not in the cards for this chapter. Or really... man, any chapter in the foreseeable future. Jeez, I need to rewrite this thing.
