Oh yes oh yes, I'm not just stealing characters from Prof... I'm stealing the whole goddamn neighborhood!

Stand by for conspiracies, violence, and more friggin' city backgrounds than I've ever, ever drawn before...

Wednesday night's regularly scheduled update will arrive at 8 pm Central.

Are you going to incorporate AB Classic or AB Redux?
It is still the same AB but just curious about some factors...

Short answer: I'm going to bring you to the Autumn Bay that I see.

Long answer: As I've always said to Prof, I will maintain consistency within my own stories. The fact that they mesh up with his universe is a happy coincidence.

Where our works diverge is where our works diverge--the classic case in point is Nesariel, who is only perceived as a figment in the imaginations of the mentally ill in the LIRverse. He won't be used as a plot mechanism and essentially has no influence on my characters.

So, to summarize, I would say "AB Classic? What the hell are you talking about?" :)

I see. It has always been clear to me your works are connected by more than simple references with slight adjustments.
But there is a bit of confusion as to how deep that goes.

I meant the original AB series VS. the current series.
I know it is a reboot but as far as I know, some stuff from AB 1.0 is no longer considered?

OK, OK! I know that is probably unimportant to your own comic.

I think this might be the best place to discuss lirvilas's use of things AB related...

1) I trust him implicitly. He always asks about things, especially before anything major.

2) Unless otherwise noted, whatever happens here can be considered canon in current Autumn Bay. Discrepancies will probably be noted. Maybe.

3) Unlike previous runs, I will be hard-pressed to respond quickly in my comic to things in the LIRverse. Whatever happens here, I have to just... er... Let It Ride.

4) Any dissent between us will likely end in a shadow war, fought behind the scenes, and may or may not end in a shovel to the back of the head... :P

Thank you, Prof!
I was not really sure HOW deep and lenient the connection is. Only that it is more than just a couple of references.

That is quite pressuring, haha!
Willingly pushing each other as BOTH works develop! Props to that :D
I guess that makes it harder especially for you. Hm.

4) Ya. I know one of you is going to swallow and take over the other one at some point ;)

Madjak, you make some really good observations.

But I must insist on the party line when I say "What reboot? AB's **always** been like this!" :)

No no! I do not want an argument or telling you how to do your job!
I do not want to be that fan who thinks he knows the work better than the author.

Prof once said: "Forget everything you know about AB once 2.0 is out."
I took that quite literally. I admit that.
I am glad for the explanation!

I hope so, I hope so... at a bare minimum I can promise you some serious verbal fisticuffs. And that's just between me and Prof!

Love the night sky here... and I immediately recognized the AB cityscape. In response to your reply to MadJak, I'm definitely curious about your perspective of it!
