Not 100% pleased with how this one came out... such is the nature of experiments.

Edit: After much gnashing of teeth and pulling of hair, Winners and Loser is now reclassified as full on sleaze fully flagged.

Ah, thanks guys! Glad to hear you enjoyed it.

Off the top of my head I'll be punching out at least one more "experimental" page before this chapter is done.

Interesting. So this expects you to read MSV as well.
More of an observation than anything.

Who is that lady with Eric?
She looks like the woman he "saved" at one point but that is like 20% guess.

"Why I gotta read MSV?"
--> Everybody's a critic. Yes, Chuck from Maximum Speed and Violence is up there, yes, Tona's statement requires some context to understand, and yes, that's not good writing as far as my standards go.

"Recurring character! Recurring character!"
--> Yes, the gentleman is correct, that's Amanda Ramey. We will get a very cursory explanation recap of her presence here in a couple pages.

Honestly, I do not mind that.
I would do the same but unlike you, it would be a shameless attempt at dragging more people to my other comic.
Plus the fact that the comic would never become bigger than CF audience anywhere else anyway so might as well focus on these people. No more readers than that so no one cares as most are familiar with the other work as well.

But that is what I would do :D

Your experiments with transition are noted, appreciated, and more than a little bit awesome. Do keep up the good fight!

Straight ranting:

Answer #1: There is a certain cold freedom that comes with a complete inability to capitalize on the work.

Answer #2: Just because I can't remotely compete in terms of technical skills with the likes of Fisheye Placebo and Sarah Zero doesn't mean I can't take shots at generating work with superior composition. And let's be honest, with the exception of Heart of Keol, just about everybody on the CF "Popular Overall" tab is gunning for a fixed page size (yes, Seabiz and T-Bizz, I'm talking to y'all) and a fixed page size is so fifteenth century.

And while I"m ranting, here's something that the western cannon is generally awful at: negative space. This is likely due to the traditional format of western comics, be it in a monthly magazine or a newspaper page.

Format is only a prison if you allow it to become one.

Keep the artistic transitions coming!
I like them.

Why the censorship?

AND maybe SOME of us print our comic and need a static format. Huh?!

1) Thanks! With four (not counting Captain Happy's intermittent commentary) plotlines going at the same time*, I'll be sweating those transitions for the foreseeable future.

2) My decision to run without flags comes with a price, and that price is blacking out stuff. For consolation, feel free to prompt questions about "what does she mean 'become one of his regulars'" and other awkward but not profane conversations.

3) RD, if you are printing your comic(s) then I salute you. As you've already seen, I don't have great faith in webcomics as a viable career for anyone, so if you're going the print route then you've got real passion, and passion will eventually get you further than even the nicest pair of shoes.

4) Speaking of which, don't expect any awesome shoes in this segment, sorry :(

*) Wow, don't I look like an asshole for hounding Professor Etheric about EXACTLY THE SAME NARRATIVE CHOICE throughout Autumn Bay 1.0?! Gross hypocrisy, anyone? Ha ha ha ha ha

Hi - a bit late in here, blame it on a mix of windows 10 pro and nvidia graphics....

anyways... really cool transition but sorry man, those blocked out words are a 100% turn-off - I understand you not wanting to discuss the reasons in the comments section but I have to say it smacks of japanese porn ducking the punch, not what I expect from your good self :)

on the plus side however, I am with you all the way on variable page sizes and clever use of negative space

1. I forgot to look at dates on these things... But the current timeline is a little fuzzy (you haven't given a month on anything in... well... months).

2. You have alluded to The Flirt Locker and Maureen mentioned that they want her to dance weekends there. As we know from the Bruno Harm crossover, Chuck frequents the place. :P
