Barely cranking these out in time... gotta love having that buffer at zero. However, I will continue to make my schedule as advertised.

....Uh oh! So that's who it was...

Hahah, that last panel is badass and deadly, I love the lights on the sign!

However ruthless and violent they are, banging out tiny little MSV strips doesn't exactly give room to express how immensely powerful and dangerous Sonja's organization is.

Sounds like this page did a little of that. Thanks!

Thanks! I originally planned all sorts of dialogue for this sucker. But sometimes you have to shut the hell up, step back, and let the hate emanate.

Uh, cannot they just sit down for a drink and talk it over? For old times sake?
I guess not.

Is the green haired guy the unlucky employee featured in MSV?

That dude with the awful hair is indeed from MSV... as are Sonja and "the mean agent who hates Chuck".

I need to give him a name.

Ah.
I thought it is Sonja, Ivan (guess not) and that unlucky employee.
So it is not Ivan. Hm, I think his skin is lighter if I picture The 30 Days of Characters.

Thanks! All credit goes to Manga Studio 5EX and its rulers; I also stole a skyscraper from Sketchup to get an idea of what I wanted to draw prior to building it.

All of the credit goes to the artist that envisioned the page and executed it so effectively.

The rest are just tools.

Wow. Great communication of how dangerous this organization is through the looming, grey building.
The stormy scene is a nice touch as well.

I enjoyed the effect so much I scrolled this page several times.

Well done, sir.

Thanks... someone in the forums said that they started paying attention to how they composed their backgrounds when they realized that the background is a character in and of itself, that it can tell the story as effectively as dialogue. I guess I'm starting to take that onboard, that the background and setting aren't just a time sink. Because, as I mentioned before, there was all kinds of talking that I scrapped... apparently to great effect.

But enough about me--don't you have some young women to abduct?

I chuckled when I read this because you reminded me of how Madjak just said his yellow wall's become a character. :-)

What you just said is now noted. I often feel like backgrounds are a time sink, but you've proved here how effective they can be.
I'm going to pay more attention to that and see where it takes me. Thanks.

And yes, I have a young woman to abduct, where was MSV when she needed them? :-P

Can you imagine Chuck and Ivan on the case though?
They would get drunk in the bar, tried to shoot the aliens and then maybe even tried the eat the "crappy lunch."

Yeah... Chuck and Ivan are much better at the "abduction" part of "preventing an abduction".

And yeah, they'd eat her lunch, feel bad about it, and then take her someplace totally inappropriate to make up for it. "So what if it's a strip club? They've got a buffet!"

Monolithic building is monolithic.

This is decidedly one thing that Maerc does better than Aegis. Aegis Securitech buildings are unobtrusive, blending with the surrounding architecture.

Amazing job on this page. I tip my hat, sir.
