On travel, so my responses to comments may tend to be a little delayed and a little... uh deranged.

Thanks. This is the stuff I can't do in MSV, hence the shift in my efforts.

Awww man...
That's so touching. And it came from SAM!

Sam, as you'll see on the following page, is way WAY better on paper than in person.

You ever see a burned-out car on the side of the road and shiver because you know you could wreck out just like that?

Yeah...

And yes, thank you for the well-wishes on the travel!

This part really resonates with me. Because of reasons. Sorry, no snark today.

If you need me, I'll be over here, raising a glass...

Yeah, every one of the events mentioned directly influenced my life, though not to the level of trauma shown above.

We could have been heroes, but instead they fucking told us to keep shopping.

The thing I love about Sam is that I still cannot decide whether the "idiot self" is a perfect act or he is capable of being serious and surprisingly smart.
Looking back at the original series, it is like they almost switched with Eric. Though I am not sure how canonical are the university life comics as I have a feeling it was your education commentary at first before you turned it into the standalone LIR series.
Sam was that party boy who did not want to study while Eric came across as more serious and ambitious.
Then came LIR and bam. Eric is a chaotic psycho while Sam seemed to have "grown up" if I can say it like that.
The after years effect.

MadJak, your comments are turning into the annotated version of LIR!

No answers from me here, because you ask questions and make statements that can only be revealed by the characters' further actions.

I am usually bad with details like who said what or did on page XY.
That is why Prof's links were helpful to me but I still embarrassingly slipped at times.
With some comics, I made comments that looked like I did not read a thing -_-;

On the other hand, I actually remember the overall flow, motivation and personality decisions much more clearly sometimes being able to pinpoint an old page and say what happened around that time.
Sam was a bad boy who got summoned by the dean, Eric vs. Sam and their thoughts on the academic year etc.

What I want to say is that I just want to throw the thoughts in from time time.
I do not expect an answer for obvious reasons you stated :)

VERY deep, Lir. I won't comment on your Government's lack of leadership during those periods since this is a "polite" gathering, except to re-iterate what you have already said.

If I may, I would like to suggest a change in dialogue in Panel 1; instead of "...for towards your ends", may I suggest "...to further your ends". It actually makes more sense both grammatically and is more "natural-sounding". Unless, of course, Sam is already totally blazed and can barely speak as it is... lol

Oh shit, yeah, that's not stylistic, that's a straight up mistake. Thanks for pointing that out.

[Redacted]

Right, "polite" gathering. Let the work speak for itself.

I -almost- said a "family" site. Then I guffawed. After I picked myself up off the floor, I typed "polite". I thought it would get a chuckle... lol

1) Family is what you make it. [redacted]

2) Sorry to lay the blast on, SigPig, but I just suffered through a twenny minute conversation with a hardcore Trump partisan.

[Redacted for exceptional profanity--this is a family site after all]
