I reckon I've got about six more pages before I hit the epilogue. Wonder who'll survive until then?

From over three years later, I’m glad to see that I’ve significantly improved my use of particle effects. The page is still pretty cool, though.

A kind and compassionate man's teachings, now decayed and rotting into justification for denying the humanity of women/LGBTQ/members of other faiths/etc...

Yeah, I'd say that's a pretty good case of zombification.

Chuck may be as dumb as the day is long, but he has a strange sort of intelligence where gunplay is involved. I am happy he's continuing the mission and not attempting to blaze of glory as many Aegis as possible.

Oh, and John Woo wishes he had this scene. :)

You are most assuredly NOT going to be pleased at his "continuing the mission".

@Lir OH NO. I'm back to worrying about Chuck. I was fine for a little bit.

I ran out of seat edge.

Well done.
You nailed this.

It kind of feels like the page I've been waiting for in Chuck's subplot.

Wrap Chuck's storyline up so that I don't have to agonize over whether or not you're going to kill him off anymore.

Fucking. WOW.

The hints of colour are all that is needed in this scent. My hat's off to you, lir...

Thank you, Sig.

Greyscale with trace colors is probably my long term "style"... a valued partner is advising me on the next project, and this will likely be what you see.

If you like it, check out Brujagh, which does it much better.

I woulda probably upped the body count, but sticking to my schedule is more important than offending Prof.

Ok I'm done hijacking other comments now.

First: Rad cinematic action
Second: Chuck is dang resilient holy crap. Also this minimal color thing works so well for this mood.

And dat Lord's prayer, I have to say, I haven't seen it used quite this way but dang. If that last line is any indicator of coming pages...we haven't reached the final precipice yet then. There's room for a few more clicks.

Spellz-

Thanks! This is a page I've had in my mind for a long time, a desperate B&W fight at the elevators set to the Shepherd's Prayer. It was originally going to be Chuck heaping up bodies left and right, but I toned it down.

Totally agree (I mean, besides drawing a page set to it). The imagery is powerful as all get out, and I'm saying this as an avowed atheist.
